I am not a plein air painter so far as I can tell. But, I love the wider view afforded by landscapes. Stepping back to take in a scene can happen anywhere, really, which is why I included images from cities and towns, seasides, lakes and mountains. Some of the images have been extensively altered to allow me to emphasize certain qualities of timelessness, magic, dreams, and colors.
Delmar and Environs
My garden is a continual joy and source of inspiration. I create portraits of the flowers, but also sometimes try to capture a longer view. In addition, I take pictures during my walks in the Five Rivers Nature Center near my home.
